This technique uses intricate hand movements and subtle chakra waves to render the target hypnotized and incapable of movement. However, this effect will only last as long as the shinobi continues to perform the technique and the target can see the shinobi’s hands. In other words, while performing this jutsu, you are helpless, but so is your target. If the target cannot see the shinobi’s hands, the technique will not take hold.
